Resources and Approach for

Children and Families

We provide trauma-informed care and support services to children and their families who are victims of crime, abuse, and exploitation.

Trauma-Informed

Investigation, advocacy, and support

We assist children and youth residing in the Northern Rural Counties (Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey) who are suspected victims of child abuse or exploitation. In a safe and child-friendly space, we offer effective, efficient, and compassionate services and a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) approach to providing Family Advocacy services, Forensic Interviewing services, and specialized Medical and Mental Health services.

Safety

We offer a supportive and safe environment for victims to work with our multidisciplinary team of professionals after a traumatic experience.

Justice

We help children and families pursue justice by holding the perpetrators of neglect and abuse accountable.

Healing

By offering mental health services, connecting families with resources, and providing advocacy, we promote resilience and healing for children and families.
